I’m JJ Almond. I work with people who live visible, expressive lives but carry pressure that isn’t always seen.
Many of the people who find their way to me are creatives, performers, and LGBTQ+ professionals — people who are emotionally aware, capable, and often outwardly confident, yet privately wrestling with self-doubt, burnout, or a sense of disconnection. You might be used to showing up for others, holding things together, or performing a version of yourself that works, while not having much space to explore how you actually feel. I work online with clients across the UK.
Therapy with me is a place where you don’t need to explain yourself or get it “right”. Our work is reflective rather than performative, curious rather than clinical, and paced in a way that allows things to unfold without pressure. I’m interested in understanding the patterns that shape your relationships, creativity, and sense of self — and in creating a space where something more honest can emerge.
If this resonates, we can begin with a brief introductory conversation to see whether working together feels right.
